Yarn Along

Today I cast on a hat for Hadley with this delicious blue yarn.  I am making the Hermione loves Ron hat off of the Ravelry site by Christy Aylesworth.  It will be my first attempt at cables, but I am in love with the hat and ready for the challenge.  So far the most exciting knitting going on is the unraveling and re-wrapping of the ball of yarn. Which is why so little actual knitting got done today.

On the reading side of things is Siblings Without Rivalry by Adele Faber and Elaine Malish because, well, one can always dream right?  Truthfully, there are many days when the twins are as close as can be, but on other days there are the inevitable squabbles, and power struggles. I'm just past the first chapter, but am hoping that I can pick up a few bits of wisdom.

    Have a great day!

  2. What a great hat! I love cables and open work together! Good luck with the cables - it is really so easy once you get the hang of it that you'll be adding more cabled projects to your queue!
